I got my first Pilot Prera today and had no idea how small it was. Even though Iโd heard it was considered a pocket pen, and even saw a video recently about Preras with a size comparison to other pens, my brain never registered how small the pen is until I opened the box and saw it. ๐ ๐ So cute! I inked it up with Jacques Herbin 1670 Bleu Ocean, which is a really good match for the Preraโs transparent blurple accents.
I bought it specifically for its CM (Calligraphy Medium) nib which is a narrow italic nib. Itโs only maybe one or two mm narrower than the stub nibs I have on my TWSBI and Kaweco Sport, but I feel itโs more manageable with my small block print writing and the tiny grid on Hobonichi Hon pages. Quite happy with the purchase!
