I love shooting with my Fuji GFX50s, except for its weight! It’s so bloody heavy… But I deal with it because the pictures I get out of it are great, even when I’m “just” taking cat photos. These pictures are straight out of the camera (SOOC), the RAW files processed on the camera itself (changed film simulation and some exposure-related tweaks).

I used my Nikon F-mount Vivitar Series 1 105mm macro lens which sometimes imparts a dreamy vignette, as you can see in this picture of Sprite on the couch, mid-feets-stretch. 😺

I always thought it was kind of funny when camera lens reviewers would complain about a lens vignetting, as I like the effect vignetting has on drawing your eye to the subject. But I often go for the artistic look, rather than strict high-fidelity, so YMMV.

I partially decided to bust out this camera because I watched a video about the new Hasselblad 907x 100c and wanted to reassure myself that I don’t need to buy such an expensive medium format camera because I already have a more than capable one in the GFX50s (but of course I want to buy the Hasselblad). 😜 Use what you have! It applies to cameras, stationery, as well as any other collections. 😀
